Ok, so we previously made alot of headway before some of the data was lost, so we shouldn't go over old ground too much.

I was thinking we should focus on tackling the main issues, such as

* A Start Date
*To pre-select characters or not?
*The issue of killing characters off

(and anything else that anyone is still not sure about)

As soon as everyone is back it should start, no pre-selecting and kill whoever you want!

Basically in agreement with Wiz.

Yeah we should start as soon as all the places have been filled again, so when they are the person for no.1 - Roco - has, what, one or two weeks to write his episode then it's moved on to the next person.

If we don't pre-select a character, should we instead write out a list of characters who really should be given an episode dedicated to them? That way we don't get five or so people writing about the same character. Andd even if we don't have a list of 16 characters that must be written about, at least have a core group who must be witten about, so that way it doesn't matter so much if one character has two episodes because that's what usually happens on Lost anyway.

Start soon... I did the math last week, and if we start now, we will still be grinding with the end of the hiatus.

Don't pre-select, I think you should tell the person in front of you who you plan to use though... so perhaps they'll think twice before killing the person off.

Also, I think you should only kill off a main character if you are giving them a centric.

What we could do, if people still aren't re-signing up, is re-arrange the order so that people who have re-signed up (see the apt thread) can begin writing.

Basically, so we'd have the first 6 writers (for example) ready to begin, and hopefully by week 12 (2 weeks per writer) the others will have shown up...

If that makes sense...

I say give it til the end of this/next week though...

Well in a few day's, i'll be good to go!

Of the point's mentioned above:

*I agree that we shouldn't kill a character until they've at least had a centric.

*We should make a list of all the 16 main characters wh will be having centrics and then as we go along the person who is next up should pick a character to base the centric on and then once they have submitted their story, then they should cross that character off the list, so that the next person has a list of 'available' characters. I think this will make it easier to see who is available and who isn't.

* There shouldn't be pre-selection. Personally I wouldn't mind which character i got, as it's a skill to pick up the reigns of a story and implement it regardless of the character who is centric. Obviously im first so this wont apply to me, but even if i was later in the list I wouldn't mind doing a Kate or Sun centric, for example. I think we all have to put the 'story' first and this might even mean sacrificing an opportunity to do our faves' centric.

*I am going to start the first episode withing the next few days. I think we should set a time limit of 14 days..though if a writer finishes before this then they can submit their story and the next writer's time-scale starts from the date of the previous submission.

Is everyone cool with that? Feel free to speak up now

One of the thing's im looking forward to is naming my episode -strange that:P
