I don't know what it is but Sun/Jin episodes don't go down well with me, this was an exception. Good episode.

I really enjoyed this episode too..the flashback wasnt the best [compared to others..still good though] but the island events kept me on edge! I think Mr Gale stole the performance..and Ana/Sayid [and even Charlie!] were great in this episode too, imo.

And what a cliff-hanger! The way in which Henry teased Jack and Locke was just sublime! :niceone:

Sayid desperately wants to kill Henry Gale, and I've went off him slightly because of it.

Although Sun/Jin episodes appear a little slow, I love them for the character development. I love the interaction between Sun and Jin and consider them among the better actors on the show.

There is still that question up in the air of is it or isn't it Jin's baby. Sun hasn't been totally honest from the start and on an island which seems steeped in an abundance of lies and deceipt I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't know everything about how this pregnancy came about.

On a final note, that Henry Gale is a total slimeball. He gives me the total creeps and Sayid, you have my full permission to torture him within an inch of his life, should you ever make it back to the hatch.

I must say, Sayid has disappointed me [from a moral aspect] with his recent behaviour. I understand that it wants someone to pay for what happened to Shannon but after what happened with Sawyer it seems as though he's destined to stray from the path of redemption. He's almost forcing himself to believe that he 'has it in him', in a way.

Also, the ironic thing is, is that [in my opinion] even if Henry IS one of them...does that necessarily mean that he is part of the side that created the whispers and used them to make Ana and Shannon collide? ..personally i dont think so. I stand by my belief that Henry is an ex-Dharma worker [aka an Other]..but i dont think Dharma are the ones in control of the whispers at this point..i think Hanso's foundation is.. Of course even if this is the case, Sayid is not to know that..but what im trying to say is that he doesnt seem to be looking answers..for possible alternatives...he's just hell-bent on revenge. lol.

IMO the best Sun/Jin flashback so far. I loved the way Henry Gale was teasing Jack and Locke and the 'got any milk' that was so funny! So is there a balloon out there. I doubt it but we're just going to have to wait and see!

This was a really good episode, and I enjoyed Sun and Jin's flashback a lot more than I thought I would. I also agree with above comments that there is a good chance there is more to Sun's pregnancy than has been revealed - nothing's straightforward on that island!

However Henry Gale stole the show for me with his creepy speech at the end, and then his innocent request for milk! I love his character and its fascinating to see Locke and Jack being wound up by him, and how they then behave because of it.

I never thought I would be warming to Ana-Lucia and, although she will never make my list of favourite characters, she handled the Henry situation a lot better than Sayid did. Unlike Sayid it seems, AL genuinely wants to change her behaviour and is becoming more patient and less aggressive when dealing with things. And I will not be pleased if Sayid gets out the pliers for Henry again!

I too love the interaction between Sun and Jin..it's so natural isnt it? I think they [Daniel and Yunjin] compliment each other so well!

Ive always been a bit weary of Sun though and ive never totally taken too her. Like you say she hasnt been totally honest in the past and some of her deception doesnt sit well with me at all. i know theres two sides to every story and theres a reason for the fact that she didnt tell Jin that she was learning English..but I still think she couldve and shouldve told him.

As for whether its Jins baby..i have my doubts. When they hugged at the end it looked to me as she was relieved that he bought her story and that she may possibly get away with it..but the the look on her face changed to guilt? Or perhaps she was genuinly perplexed about how on earth she could be pregnant? Hmm..i'll reserve judgement for now but it was so like Lost to almost tell us the truth only to leave it on a knife edge.

LOL..re what you said about Henry/Sayid! Personally I like Henry [in character terms and what hes added to the show] and I just think theres more to him than meets the eye. I see where youre coming from but i can slightly understand why he might want to mess with Jack and Lockes heads etc. In saying that I stand by my belief that he is an Other/Dharma. But even if this is the case I dont think it's as simple as him being one of them and being the 'bad' guy, like Sayid thinks.

Go and vote for a e4 forum cos that is the episode that needs discussin! And it would be the only thing that this forum has the the c4 one didnt!

I love that line too! As for the balloon, well i do think some part of his story are true but he's definetely got an agenda i think.

But say there is a balloon, then that in itself will open up a whole new can of worms and discussion points!

Hmm, i reckon this forum has a lot of things that the C4 one doest...PM..freedom of avi's/sigs..better moderation ..etc etc. PLus this place will get better and better as time goes on!

As for the E4 forum, I am still thinking about it..I will make a decision on it soon!

Is it possible that Sun's child could also be a child of the island? I've heard it mentioned before that Walt and Aaron and possibly Locke are children of the island. If there was some problem confounding Sun falling pregnant could she have been gotten to before the island by the Hanso/Dharma lot and be carrying a baby which is special too. If that is the case, will Sun find herself kidnapped for real? Do the others know she is pregnant yet?

Really really good episode! I like Sun, Jin not so much but I like her flashbacks! And one of the best moments were Sayide/Ana moments!
This is one of those episodes where you can just sit back and enjoy the story!
