You say "Why would there be brick walls in the rock face outside the doors?"..i say why wouldnt there be? Afterall the hatch itself is also man-made..the same rock may have been used to construct the entire thing and block the entrance.

Furthermore, i accept that the whole thing could be fake - the hatch, the camp, huts etc.....however, answer me this - is that Statue also fake? What about the Window to the sky..is that also fake? Oh and look at the material that it's made out of..the same 'brick' as the wall that blocks the hatch entrance.. Perhaps this suggests that the entrance was blocked after an incident or something..and not unexcavated as has been suggested?

I dont get why youre pinning so much on Sayids reaction though? I mean who's to say that just because he trotted off it means that it cant possibly be anything other than fake!? Since when did Sayid become the barometer of logic and reason?

If you can rely on Sayid for one thing its bashing things up. He didnt even bother this time which indicates there was nothing beyond the doors except the same rockface thats outside them.

As for the "window" and the statue - the former could just be a convenient landmark that they decided to use as a place to set up this fake camp, it would certainly be easier for Michael to remember where it was with a landmark there. As for the latter that was somewhere inbetween camp Lostie and the fake village so I dont think that has anything to do with the dummy camp the others set up.

The window may have been something but whatever it was isnt there anymore and there's a good possibility that could have once been one of the rectangular bunker buildings shown dotted around the UV map.

Haha..but our Sayid prefers to beat the living daylights out of living creatures otherwise it's no fun for him. Rock always beats fist..but flesh and blood..now that cant withstand his fists of fury!

I doubt that the window is just some random landmark that they came across and decided to use as their symbol. I mean what are the chances of just finding that thing there. Im pretty sure that it carries greater significance than that to them..

Though good point about the window 'possibly' being one of the 'CV' bunker[?] buildings dotted around...need to consider that some more.
