Question Ben Forward in Time - Island Backwards in Time?

As i've stated in some of my previous theories - every action must have a direct consequence. Cause and effect.

Which makes me wonder if by pushing the FDW and travelling to the future, Ben's actions also sent the island through space and 'time', back to the past.

I have not developed this idea yet, but I simply want to put it down as a potential avenue that the writers might take next season. Afterall, with the Octagon Global Recruiting doing Dharma's bidding this summer, it seems possible that they are alluding to the reformation, indeed the reclaimation of the might D.I (Dharma Initiative).

What better way than to bring them back into the game in real-time, than to have the island travel back to the past to a point where Dharma were still alive (pre-purge) and having the story continue from there with so much at stake, including paradoxes and the ability for Dharma to edit their own future (was the rewinding of the Orchid Orientation video a clue?).

In the words of Ben, would this make Jacob "happy" - he did seem fond of the cabin that Horace (D.I. member) built..

Again, I haven't developed this and I might not..I just think it's possible that one action (Ben leaping forward in time/space) could have a reverse effect elsewhere (the island leap backwards in time/space).

Could this also explain my theory that Widmore once moved the island (hence his bitterness towards Ben about the island being "mine"?)..could it also explain how Widmore was able to be on the island at one point, yet go on to raise a family - i.e turning the wheel sent him to the future..

Again..i'll develop this is I can be asked
