i cant help coming back to think that its all gonna loop back and jack at the very start of lost when he wakes up is him travelling back in time to that point (aka how ben wakes up in the desert - the shock look) i know there is plenty of reasons why it cant be, back stories etc, but could there be anything in it??
also think adam and eve is demond and penny??

Yes, Adam and Eve are a mystery aren't they? Never thought of them as Desmond and Penny before - mainly because we've never seen Penny on the island but that doesn't mean she hasn't been there.

Why do you think Adam and Eve are Desmond and Penny or is it just a hunch?

I doubt 'Adam' and 'Eve' are Des and Penny. I don't see any reason why both of them would be on the island but I could be wrong

I've just had a brainstorm or brainwave and think Adam and Eve are possibly Ben and Juliet due to Ben's fixation that Juliet is His Woman!

It's certainly possible and fits in with most time-loop angles. The thing wish makes me shy away from the idea is that I'd like to think that the end of Lost (and hence the beginning, in this instance) will be something that we haven't thought of. Or at least something more unforseen and unsuspecting - a device like the season 3 finale flash-forward kinda thing (only more all-encompassing)..now that was WOAH..HOLY CHEESECAKES!

That said I am a BIG fan and believer in time-loops and in the idea that this isn't the first time that some (if not all) of the characters have 'existed'..so yeah, i'm certainly open..although i would prefer it not to loop back at the end of the show.

I did pretty much think the same about the loop, until Ben turned up at the funeral parlour. I think when they all have to go back, the loop won't be right if Ben lands with them. It just won't be the same without Ben leading the others when the plane crashes.
Having said that though, the others seemed as though they knew the drill when the plane fell apart, so perhaps there's something in some sort of prophecy which is passed down. The last bit was off the top of my head so probably isn't very likely at all. I just felt that they didn't know about the plane, but knew what to do quite calmly.

Interesting how Jack's Dad's coffin was empty. What if thats the coffin they brought locke back in, and just left him there. Then, the island brings locke back to life (just presuming that he couldnt survive long in the real world without the islands power to keep him going) and he gets up and waltz's out, leaving it for Jack to find when time loops around.

As we know, the dead docs body arrived a couple of days out of sync!
