I think there'll be a Penny and Des reunion

i think they'll get off the island and the last scene will be as soon as they open the door to the real world

However, I predict that it will also be phased in with flashforwards of them returning to the island and finding it all blown up like

Richard Alpert has to come back, but probably before the finale I'm reckonin'

I think it'll be a given that the finale will be them getting off the island, but I still stand by my silly unrealistic thoughts that we're going to have an uber flash-forward and Aaron's going to be older and he'll go to the island and everyone will look the same because they haven't aged and he'll be reunited with Claire

Okay that's stupid... But it'll be a flashforward having something to do with getting back to the island

Lost will probably suprise us with a new concept. As esn and FBF stated, a "flashforward-flashforward" would be shocking but perhaps they will save that for S5?

I think it will involve leaving the Island, the return of the Others and something shocking thrown in.

Penny reaching the Island possibly? Though Ben wants to kill her in 2005 so perhaps she has not reached it yet?

Backstabbing could be very well likely. We have Michael to think about too, as well as the return of Desmond and Sayid.

I think we've had a 'game changer' in the execution of Alex (and the ramifications of..), but i think we could have yet another real curveball thrown at us.

Personally I think that the "magic-box" will be involved at somepoint this season..I think 4.09 touched on it heavily, and i can see them devloping that aspect of the show more as the season/s progress

I always thought the 'magic box' was imaginary - in other words Cooper was physically brought to the Island as w heard Cooper's story about being drugged in the Ambulance. I did not think Ben's teleportation in 4x09 was related to the magic box - or atleast I had not given it any thought.

I always thought that the magic box was just a metaphor for the island. Like when Locke told Charlie in season 1 that if you want something, you have to give something in return; it means that the island will help or aid you in your search as long as you want it bad enough.

If that makes any sense at all

Nice link between those two issues. Though I doubt Locke wanted Cooper per say. Unless he did not know he needed it, in that he needed closure. But yes I just assumed the "magic box" was purely made up for whatever reason - I never understood it quite frankly.

I think they'll leave the island, but they'll come back otherwise it wouldnt be Lost.
I also think the others have to return, they've been away for too long. I guess they'll be a twist there. Also I'm thinking it's going to be a cliff hanger 'OMG YOU CAN'T END THERE!' moment. [Better than Alex shouting 'I'm ben's daughter
