Mickhail Bakunin = Alvar Hanso?

Alvar Hanso is the Danish CEO and Founder of the Hanso Foundation. The great grandson of Magnus Hanso, little is known about his early life, but it is understood that he was initially involved in the military, developing munitions during the Second World War. However, years later, Alvar would establish the Hanso Foundation, in contrast aiming to "reach out for a better tomorrow" and preserve life on Earth.

Mikhail Bakunin is a member of the Others and a former Soviet soldier who lived in the Flame, stationed there to manage communications with the outside world. He was later shot in the chest with a spear gun, only to survive and then detonate a grenade outside the window of the Looking Glass station, drowning Charlie Pace. He perished when the grenade detonated.

They had a striking resemblence to each other. What do you think?

My friend on this forum Reed believes Mikhail is in fact Radzinsky, the partner of Kevin Inman who both worked at the Swan Station and who later shot himself in the head. However, i reasearched into it and Inman states that he put a shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger, which in my view is sudden death. So, i suspect that Mikhail is not Radzinsky.

What are your views?

No. Alvar looks more like Noel Edmonds. Plus Mikhail was Russian and not danish.

Plus its gr8 what a pair of scissors can do to hair you kno, and apparently an eye...

Also Mikhail is just a foot solider. He knew nothing. Even Bonnie and Greta were higher up the "other" chain then Mikhail.

maybe he wanted it that way to get to a position that he was comfortable in to ride the storm out and maybe get off the island

it certainly looks like him, but i doubt that it is him. and plus, he's so not dead. he'll show up again and they'll be some little barny between him and desmond, there has to be. they've got to explain why he won't die

Nah, I don't buy it.

However, whoever tells me they're not up to something by getting a guy (uncredited) who looks very much like Matthew Fox, and then giving him a prosphetic nose to seal the deal, is barking.

I think that there's more chance of Mikhail being Radzinsky than Hanso. As has been mentioned above, Hanso is Danish. I also don't think that the two photos share a distinct likeness - although it's certainly worth a shout.

Mikhail being Radzinsky is likely - the glass eye and the armoury (Arrow) would/could make sense in light of what we know about Mikhail. Although they could just as easily be two seperate characters.

I'll be dissapointed though if we don't find anymore out about Mikhail. His character didn't last long (if he did die). I think the show could have taken him further.

Perhaps he will become lord of the sea... a bit like King Triton

i think you mean Neptune. titan was just one of the titans ruling the earth as a whole. Neptune was king of the sea

now you come to mention it...... mikhail does look rather like him lol
