Yeah, Mikhail went far too soon - he had so much mileage left, although once he pulled off that eyepatch I guess it was always going to be goodbye (except in a flashback or vision maybe).

Not that I have an in depth knowledge of it or anything , but I believe he was referring to King Triton of the Little Mermaid.

if it turns out that mikhail is dead i'll be really disappointed. i really don't think he is, as i doubt he would blow himself up just to kill charlie. i'm sure there were bigger and more important things going on than that. although maybe he was/is just a bit of a nasty pasty.

My friend on this forum Reed believes Mikhail is in fact Radzinsky, the partner of Kevin Inman who both worked at the Swan Station and who later shot himself in the head. However, i reasearched into it and Inman states that he put a shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger, which in my view is sudden death. So, i suspect that Mikhail is not Radzinsky.

I saw a movie not so long ago where a man placed a gun under his jaw, pulled the trigger and survived - however severly mutated. If you recall, in the Swan, Radzinsky's blood was on the ceiling [well on one of the steel panels above Inman's head when he was explaining everything to Desmond].

My point is it is not possible for the blood to be there if Radzinsky pulled the trigger in his mouth, well unless he tilted forward - in which case he and Mikhail are NOT the same person. Then again if they are the same we can also rule out Radzinsky pulling the trigger under his jaw [head tilted backward] as Mikhail has no mutation on his face/jaw. I suppose they are not the same person.

As for Hanso and Mikhail - they are not the same person imo but your suggestion "his accent could be a ruse" is very funny however.
