Malkin Theory

This is my current theory on Mr Richard[?] Malkin.

He is a psychic and a Hanso referer in that he refers people with untapped special abilities to the Hanso foundation. One day his daughter died and drowned. However due to his links with the most advanced scientific organisation in the world [The Hanso Foundation] he had access to science that made his daughter 'special'. So when she died..she later came back alive due to years of exposure to the same/similar thing that 'fixed' Sarah and Locke and Rose etc. Only thing, Malkin didnt truely believe until she awoke during the coroners investigation. Then he tried to cover it up. When the chruch [Eko] came calling he did his upmost to lie to him by saying that it was all an error and there was no miracle. When in fact there was a miracle - a scientific one. Malkin knew that a man of faith should be kept in the dark about such things and so he lied to Eko, thus keeping the island and it's owners secret..for now.


So basically I still reckon that Malkin IS psychic and that he is Hanso.F. related but he was just trying to protect his position.

I agree that he might be Hanslo/Drhama/whoevers really in charge related and part of the big scam (for want of a better phrase) in getting them to the island -Claire and now Eko, but I dont think hes really pyschic (sp) I talk in my old GUT about people influncing the losties and i reckon that he and his daughter - maybe the whole family are in amoungst those who were influencing the losties and making sure they are taking the "correct" path and entering the island in the correct frame of mind for what the island or whoever controlls it wants them to do

Yeah theres certainly been some manipulation going on. I also feel that Isaac might be an external Hanso agent also.
