When Jate got caught in the net Kate said "it's not one of theirs..it's not sophisticated enough"...now that may be the case, in that it might not have been theres...but just how sophisticated does a net have to be, lol!?

Dont get me wrong, i know what she meant..because saw the Staff hatch and concluded that they have access to advanced technologies etc..but dont they also run around in rag-tag gear? How can she be so sure it wasnt theirs?

She may be right in that it was Danielles trap..but she got there by default in my opinion :P

I agree, just because she has seen the 'staff hatch' doesn't mean that the 'others' traps would be sophisticated.

Like you said, how sophiscated can it get?

I think it was a 'link' so that she could tell Jack about the medical hatch [and the beard] :P

All seriousness though - I think she's made her mind up that the 'others' have been putting on a 'we're scruffy' front and just deduced from that, that they wouldn't use traps....

..Also Dani is well known for her baby/doll traps - Charlie found out too well about that

I'd have expected a cage or a pit from the Others instead of a net.

Maybe she said that because the trigger for the trap was a manky old doll, and from past experience 'the others' seem more collected and organised in their plans, etc. As in going to look for the raft, having a grenade or other miscellaneous explosive at the ready!

I agree with that interpretation 108%. :P

What she meant is "using a net is not sophisticated enough". Thats what bush people do, and she has concluded (right or wrong) that if they disguise as bush people then they probably aren't bush people.

And to the rest of you: shame on you! I don't like Kate much, but she is the first person who has put 2 and 2 together here. Give her a break! Give her a KitKat! (or should that be an Apollo bar
