Well when you love someone you do give them your soul, don't you? A less romantic way to say it would be to 'sell' them your soul, since you're getting payment of their soul in exchange

Yes, you might give them your soul, but for someone to take that soul, to steal it without permission, or without giving the other person a choice. That's just mean. Sayid needs to fight this to the end! And he's a strong guy...so here's hoping.

But Sayid does have a choice though! Granted it doesn't seem like a very desirable choice (to risk having his friends die if he doesn't follow Ben's orders), but it's still a choice and Sayid has still exercised free will to give himself over to Ben. Ben's not literally forcing Sayid to do anything he doesn't want to do, and the bottom line is is that Sayid must believe and trust Ben in what he says. Sayid just needs to stop fighting his true feelings for Mr. Linus, that's all

What choice is that?! Work for Ben and his friends are ok, or not work for Ben and there's a good chance they die. He might as well be forcing Sayid, the poor guy has no choice. *Shudders* Stop with the Bayid, it's almost as bad as Jocke
