I hope I put this in the right spot, it wasn't character or episode specific. I was wondering what you guys thought about Kate and Daniel. I am not the type of person that just ships people together on Lost, but I kind of like the idea of Kaniel. The way Kate looks at him is interesting, and the idea has been very popular on the other forums. So what do you guys think??? Here are some pictures and I read this thing about Evangeline Lilly and new man Jeremy Davies . I'm sorry if this sounds stupid.

I'm not really a shippy fan, but now that you mention it there could be something between them. Perhaps more from Kate's side tho?

In the 2nd eppy I thought she was acting rather strange in some of their scenes together but I put it down to the fact that Kate and Jack were simply suspicious of his motives - and whilst that is still true, perhaps the point was to also convey somesort of attraction?

..and she did try to cop a feel of his booty - she says she was going for the gun, but I don't believe her

I'm not a shipper fan either and I don't really want a fifth person in this current "quadrouple" relationship.

Maybe if they get on well on set it shows in their scenes?

Sorry I couldn't find the shipper forum. Thanks for moving it. And I kind of hope Kate forgets Jack and Sawyer and goes for Dan. And I agree with you Abott, maybe it does show in the scenes if they get on well on the set.

No worries - It would be very interesting to see her and Dan spend more time together. Although I do worry that Dan is not strong enough to handle her. She'd probably mess him around or break his heart, as upstanding a man as he appears to be.

You can probably tell i'm not Kate's biggest fan

You are probably right she would break his heart, but I wouldn't.

And I wasn't Kate's biggest fan till this season. I just thought it was interesting how Kate acted around Dan, but maybe it's just me.

No, Daniel's far too good for the likes of Kate in my view!

But I wouldn't be all that surprised if you were proven right Gale and that they do end up together, but only because Kate wants to use him for something and Daniel's too much of a gentleman to tell her to go jump off a cliff
