I hate any scene Locke is in, unless Shannon is in it aswell lol! So no it is not interesting for me to watch!

I have no love for hypocritical Sayid at all, but he is a very good character and I rather like any scenes he has with Locke...obviously not the ones where he's having an unjustifed go at Locke, but more like the ones where Locke fights back and puts him in his place

They do make a facinating pair - they always have done. I recall when Locke gave Sayid the knife to slay Sawyer..i mean to defend himself against Sawyer. I think the relationship seeds between these two were planted that far back..neither of them trust one another yet they both respect the usefulness of each other. Remember Locke telling Boone:

"Dont push him..he's useful, were gonna need him on our side later on" (owtte)

I finf it interesting how Sayid and Locke always come together when somethings going down - The Hatch opening, Ben, The Flame..i get the feeling that there paths are highly linked when it comes to this show..one will die..the other will live. Please let it be Locke (who lives)!

They make an interesting pair. They are both completley different Locke is a man of faith, Sayid a man of faith. I remember Sayid saying "I believe what I can see" but Lock just has faith in things, with no proof.

I've not seen any episodes since we lost Sky so haven't got any new facts to go on. But yes from the beginning Locke and Sayid were an interesting couple to put together. Sayid however, is someone who will push someone else as far at it takes to get what he wants. Locke is someone who will push himself as far as it takes to get what he wants. I do feel though that Sayid serves the community and Locke is more liable to serve himself.

I'm hoping that this here thread means there is more Locke/Sayid interaction to come and if I ever get the latest episodes (godaam sky and Virgin) then I'll have more to add.

oh theres plenty of Locke/Sayid action in the two episodes you have missed Snowy (won't spoil it with any detail but there are some cracking one liners to each other as well)

It terms of character, both are at the top of the pile with kate and Paulo at the bottom of course!

I do feel you are right - but I would like to see it as Sayid leaves the island to find Nadia and Locke stays on the island to find himself. So they both survive!!

And they kiss.

I think that relationship needs to be explored further.

I've always enjoyed the dynamic between these two and the scene where Shannon shoots Locke because Sayid won't hurt him is still one of my all-time favourite scenes. For all Sayid's faults and how quick he can be to leap to judgements (Sawyer, Henry) he is quite good at figuring out people.

*looks confused* I was going to say something about 4x01 then but I'm not sure it's allowed so *keeps quiet.*
