I actually feel that Ana and Eko both ran their course with 2/3 flashbacks and Ana was only going to be for one season

But of course Charlie, Claire and Kate have also ran their course and they are still with us

Paulo has ran his course after his first scene

As opposed to what she did do - it seems that she refused the money to save her pride from being bruised but surely conning her own step-brother (who she knew was in love with her) is a disgusting sort of pride to hold on to.

Sabrina is too blame though.

Then Sabrina sees Boone and Shannon close together. Sabrina is jealous of Shannon because she is closer too the people she loves then she is.

Sabrina = jesalous and evil
Shannon = generous and sweet - she resented Boone because he got what she shoudl have got.

Did Boone know that she'd been cut out of the will at the time though? I can't remember us finding out either way and if not then you can't automatically assume that.

I really liked Shannon tbh, she was fun, she brought some humour but she had a heart underneath it all. I wanted her and Sawyer to hook up for a heck of a long time, and as season one developed I thought she really came into her own.

Her first flashback was interesting to say the least, and it revealed so much more about her person, and why she acted as she did.

When Boone died I wept with her. I wanted her to kill Locke....

In season two I thought she really came into her own, her and Sayid were adorable together, and her flashback in this season showed us so much more about her, it was heartbreaking too.

She was a good character, I miss her a bit.

There's a difference between 'like' and interesting. I think Shannon was likeable, but she was far from interesting in my opinion. Killed at the right time; like Ana L (in my opinion) unlike Libby

T'would be good to see her back though, for nostalgia sake

I liked her. There was much to to her, than met the eye. Underneath all that selfishness, there was a very caring girl waiting to get out (again).

She annoyed me at times... but I still think it was a shame they killed her off.

Always leave them wanting more.

If she was still in it, we'd maybe be sick of her soon. This way she died young and stays pretty.

I never really connected with Shannon and didnt like the way in which she treated Boone.

But she showed that she was more than just a stereotype (in the end) and this I appreciated. I think the creators did a good job of adding a final layer to her character in her final centric episode. I was saddend by her loss of Adam and the way in which Sabrina shafted her..it was like everyone in her life just left and that couldnt have been easy. But the girl had ambition and she had a dream and it's cruel how that dream got taken away from her and how people couldnt have enough belief in her to help facilitate that dream..particularly when it was out of spite and resentment on Sabrinas part

Also, i really began to love the Sayid/Shannon relationship. Im not saying they were in love, like REALLY in love..but i do think that they really cared for one another and although they were from 2 different worlds (by that i mostly mean their mindsets etc) they really found something in each other that both scared them and made them complete. I feel that their 'love' for one another scared them both slightly, because they had both been burned (in the past) and had both been made to feel like an outcast in their respective lives, but when they were together they felt at home and at ease..they found themselve in one another and that was really beautiful. It was so well crafted and developed and puts any Kawyer or Clailie to shame.

I also liked the fact that their relationship wasnt 'easy' - they had their moments..like when Sayid didnt believe her about seeing Walt etc..and although this was to be a fatal and tragic lack of trust, it encapsulated that all shannon really needed to blossom was trust and someone actually belieivng in her..and i think thats an important message

I feel that since Shannon has departed, SDayid has not only lost what he gained through her but he has collapsed in on himself and is in a state of constant regression.
