i was watching the first season last night on DVD and i noticed something. I have seen lost up until season 3, haven't be able to watch season 4

. Anyway in the episode 'Raised by Another' when claire finds out that she is pregnant, she is talking about wheather to tell her mother because her mother might disown her, and Tom says to her that her mom has already disowned her, but in season 3 episode 'Par Avion' her mom was in a coma before Claire got pregnant, because in the episode she has black hair when she's in the car crash and then after she is pregnant when she goes to see her mom in hospital. so her mom couldn't have disowened her if she was in a coma from the car crash.
has anyone else noticed this?
and if so what do you think about it?

p.s do you think that the writers made a mistake with writing season 3 or?

Hmmm

i was wondering that as well.
Maybe the writers wrote that in season 1 not planning to bring Claires mum into it and then when it came to season 3 they thought nobody would notice if they brought her in. Or prehaps she had disowned her before the coma and thats why they were arguing and crashed the car.

No I don't think writers made a mistake. Have you notices that she talks to her mother in coma? Months have passed since the accidents and her mom is still in coma, but that doesn't stop Claire from speaking to her even though she is unconscious.
What do you think?

Yes but a lot of people do that when the have a friend or relative who is in coma they talk to them. Some doctors and that say that it helps.

Yes, I thought of that too. Maybe they made a mistake, but I wont admit it!

Everything is just to perfect so they couldn't have made a mistake! I don't know... Maybe she was afraid that her mother would wake up every second and saw her pregnant. Who knows!

OK i just watched this episode and Tomas says right after Claire "My mom would disown me" - "She practically already has" stating that her mother is already in coma. So no mistake! Yey!

I doubt the writers would make a mistake anyway

Thomas isnt exactly compassionate is he. Her poor mum's in a coma and he's all she disowned you get on with it!!!
Do you reckon Claire and Thomas were togther for years coz the way he was acting was like they had only been together a month.
