The NEED to SMACK Sayid

I'll give it to him..he's lucky..he's on a running streak, 3 out of 3 - Ben, Mike and Now Mikky-hail.. Well done Sayid, seriously, well done..that rabbits foot must be worth it's weight in gold.

However, is it just me, or does anyone else feel the need to SMACK his smugness? I mean not only does he suspect anyone who dares to breathe (P*ulo apart..sadly), but look what he did to that poor poor woman..and yet despite her immense decency in forgiving him, a few years later when Benry needed a bit of benefit of the doubt, what did Sayid do..he chained him to the guttering of the Swans makeshift prison and crucified him. Blood spilled from the jaws of poor Ben as Sayids boot left perma-marks on his features..but blood wasnt the only thing LOST..nope..on that day Sayid LOST his soul..or what he had left of it ..and to now see him suspecting ANYONE who is unknown to him makes me kinda sick. I know Mikky lied..but heck, so has Danni and so did Sayid (in the flashback), did he not..

It's just a crying shame that Sayid is afforded so much leniency. I 'want' to like the man, really i do..but it's really time someone smacked him one.

Yeah im glad Mikky is alive..but that doesnt change the fact that he hasnt changed his supocious ways and the fact that he's only kept Mikky alive so that he can use him as a prisoner of war - what kind of example is Sayid setting? And yet the people of LOST cry foul play when Ben and co take Jack and co home. Double standards i say!

but why does he need to set a good example? As long as he's got an idea to get Jack back then that's all that really matters.

I cant see them really caring about Mikel cos he shot Mrs Clue who seemed a higher ranking than him

and also torturing that woman was Sayids job, what if she was a terrorist then she would of deserved it! We havnt found out if she was have we? Also i think Sayid just said he remembered her so they freed him!

I don't think Sayid deserves anything but a pat on the back. He has saved the Losties on more than one occasion, and how can you expect him to set the same standards for his own people and people who have captured, killed and threatened his?

Because even smart and intelligent men like Locke and Jack follow his lead (more fool them). Sayid should set an example and do the right thing for once..not just take the option which gets him what he wants, but the option which is actually 'good'.

And for all he knows Jack wont want to leave heaven..i mean Othersville. Since when did Sayid become so invested in the safety and welfare of Jack

It will be interesting to see exactly where Mikky ranks in the grand scheme of things. I suppose we can assume that he's not 'Him'..but then, many (myself included) had doubts (at one time or another) that Ben was anything more than a lacky.

I normally like Sayid but for some reason he annoyed me in enter 77 mainly because he seemed to know everything like when he said how Mikhail was one of them without any real reason for suspecting him or none that we had seen. He also annoyed me when Locke had looked all over for the basement thing and Sayid just moves the carpet which seems unlikely Sayid would know that was there and the way he said it seemed pretty smug.
