Ben or Jules - Who's the Most Terrifying?

Ben doesn't show a huge deal of emotion but that certainly doesn't mean he doesn't feel anything, and to me that's not terrifying at all...it just means he keeps it all to himself. And I do think that - for the most part - his actions are those that are helping the greater good, even though they may not seme like it on the surface. I find Ben fascinating rather than terrifying!

Whatever people think Juliet might do for her own ends - and bearing in mind that she betrayed Ben, who was still under a promise to get her home, because she didn't want the Losties to undergo another attack - Ben shot Locke for, as far as I can gather, chatting up his invisible boyfriend. That's how volatile he is, and how far he's prepared to go for his own interests.

I suppose if you're playing on his side, and blindly following his orders, then you'd not have anything to worry about (y'know, I totally believed that until I remembered Bonnie and Greta lol). Juliet's most 'frightening' characteristic is it's half not expected. If you can remember Jules pre-island, she was kind of spineless, a bit dizzy, quiet... A lot of the negative things she has done, she would never had done had she not been: pushed, lied to, manipulated, threatened, trapped... Juliet is just a more intense version of Jack, in my opinion. Ben pushes peoples buttons, and he created whatever 'monster' he thinks Juliet has become...

That said, Ben is by far the most terrifying. And I mean that in the nicest way, as it's mostly down to M.E's brilliant acting. He's not the most imposing of people: he just looks, kind of like your average Joe, but he does have this frightening shadow of power and he knows 'people', he knows how to control both his friend and his foe. (although that power seemed to fail him as the season went on) Also, Ben is very calculated, very condemning. Most, if not all, of Juliet's 'actions' have been via reflex - and although she has done some terrible things, (and contrary to belief, shooting Pickett is worse than "betraying" Mr Betrayal Linus :P) they've mostly been to help her own behind, yes. But if you look at the situations more closely; shooting Pickett was done to save Ben, Sawyer, Kate even Jacks and possibly her own life. Warning the Losties stopped a violent kidnapping of women, and the deliberate/accidental murder of anyone who tried to stop them. Now, I'm not sure if I - myself - could have killed Pickett in cold blood, but I know for a fact that I would warn a collective of people if mass kidnapping was being planed at their expense

I don't find Ben terrifying I just find him creepy but i could be persuaded to think Juliet is terrifying

I think they both suffer from the same bad traits and I wouldn't trust either of them but I think Juliet if harder to read and therefore more terrifying as she is less predictable

They are not terrifying at all to me.
They are very inteligent people who knows what, where and how things are supposed to be done. Or had to be done.
But Juliette has that transparent look that really loses you - as Kiowa said, she makes you feel uncomfortable.
Still I love her as a character.
