I'm still shocked and excited every time he returns - even though that's a very common event now :P I love the man! He's got to be one of the best characters in Lost...or is that getting to carried away?

I agree, he is very creepy. Especially just before he kidnapped Claire, his whole attitude was just spooky - that's what made him such a cool character.

It's always great to see Ethan again, and I think he comes across as so wonderfully chilling because he tries to act so normal and calm and friendly.

And at least we got confirmation that Claire wasn't imagining things back in S1...but if Ethan was sticking a needle in her, then how come Jack had said that he couldn't find any needle marks on her? Possibly either a slip up by the writers, or more evidence that Jack's just a pretty incompetent doctor...

Maybe Ethan didn't stick a needle in that time maybe she woke up before he had chance to and they didn't actually ger blood sample until after they kidnapped her as I for one don't think Juliet was telling the whole truth when she described what Ethan was up to

Also (don't know if this has already been mentioned anywhere) but did Juliet inject Claire with the same Dharma stuff that Clarie and Charlie have been using would Charlie not have noticed its the same stuff and say hold on she has already been taking that so thats not the real cure?

Interesting, though I happen to think that these 'injections' (that's Des'/Charlies/Claires) do nothing. It's still debatable if what Juliet used actually did anything other than stop the implant from doing its work, but you would think Charlie would notice - did Claire take any? Or did she keep it all for Aaron? I was never impressed at how Claire would instantly want to inject her child with unknown 'vaccine' because of the possibility it 'might' cure a 'sickness' that may or may not even exist...

Yeah that's possible, but I'm sure that we saw a shot of a needle actually going into Claire though. If Ethan didn't successfully get any - or enough - blood from her, then he would have just hung around to try again. And even if he did get a decent blood sample from her I daresay he would have just done so again and again, since he only kidnapped her when it was discovered he wasn't on the plane. I actually believe Juliet when she said all that about Ethan, because it makes sense...Ethan would have followed Ben's orders about pretending to be one of the Losties, and only kidnapped her of his own accord when things got desperate for him.

Well Charlie's not the sharpest tool in the box, so I'm not surprised he didn't say anything about the vaccine But we never did hear anything more about the vaccine Charlie got for Claire, like did she actually use it on Aaron or not.
