I just disappointed that the jury didnt weight up the evidence and apply context for their decision. I can only be honest..I think that a bit more clairty would've been healthy. Perhaps we should've chosen 2 pro Other fans and 2 pro lostie fans? soch.gif At least that way it wouldve been fairer.

But why do that? The jury which was selected was the fairest, as it was the most random cross-section, more like in a real trial.

I have to say thoug, this was totally biased from the outset - i mean you have Verix, JB and Him..all vehement Other haters 04.gif ..they volunteered not because they wanted to be fair but because they knew they were going to vote guilty no matter what.

I don't hate the Others at all, I just believe Ethan almost certainly tried to hang Charlie. If that equates to being an Other-hater then... I guess I am.

The fact is that both sides had already exhausted their arguments before this 'trial' started, and so anyone with an opinion (ie. Lost fans... on a Lost forum) would be unlikely to change.

To be honest, I think you were lucky to get 2 'Not-Guilty' verdicts...

interesting view KoR, picking a jury was a tricky issue, but the selection was pretty much random i thought considering i just picked the first five offers.

Ok fair dues, forgive me my disappointment - please udnerstand that i truely believe the Ethmeister to be innocent of all charges, but alls fair in love and trial, so sincerly, well done to Murg (she deserved it on the quality of her post) and thanks to the jurers and TOO for taking the time to contribute/set it up.

This hasnt changed my opinion..but i live in hope that myself and the Others will one day..change minds. Where there is hope..there is hope.

But who knows, perhaps i place to much faith in my Others? Ifd thats the case then i shall surely burn with them..but i am willing to ..indeed, id have it no 'Other'way

and like Mikhail, moments before his death, i shall depart by saying one final word

Like I said at the time, Rocco, it was fun, and thanks for joining in. And though it's an easy case to prosecute, I'm actually glad I wasn't asked to judge it - you're right that we can't be 100% sure about what happened simply because we didn't see it, and that's not a comfortable thing to be passing judgement on (though it kind of helps that he's dead, so not, you know, massively affected by it). But I'll still be totally bowled over if Ethan and the Others turn out to have played no part at all in Charlie's hanging - in fact, we know they had a part in that Charlie wouldn't have been subjected to that risk had he not been kidnapped. But even beyond that. Ah well. Now we know that the producers aren't beyond going back to pick over minute details - Boone's stealing the water of all things - I concede there's more chance that we'll return to this story than I ever thought was possible. Maybe it's not closed yet.
