USER TITLES

The short test immediately underneath your Username is called a 'User Title'. User titles are set up to act as your 'post' (as in post count) progression meter. The more posts you make, the more your user title will progress.

User titles will relate to a chronological aspect, quote, scene or moment from LOST. For your first posts your user title will be S1 based..and as you post more, it will progress through the episodes and seasons..as if you were actually on the island living those moments

User titles change in increments of 10 posts initially, then after you reach a post count of 100, they change after ever '100' posts.

How to create a Custom User Title?
Currently only Staff members (Admin, G-Mod and Mods) and members who are in the Elite group can change their user titles to their own custom text. This is our way of rewarding those members for their hard work, commitment and overall contribution to the LC.

If you want to be able to change your user title, continue to contribute quality content to the forum - share your ideas, thoughts etc on LOST, be helpful and respectful to staff and other members, don't post spoilers and don't break board rules. If you do these things then it WILL get recognised eventually.

USER GROUP

Your User Group relates to the group you are in - e.g. Admin, Moderator, Elite, Member..

Different User Groups have different permissions and access levels.

Here are the various usergroups with their respective colours:

Admin/Owner - Highest level on forum with maximum forum permissions & ownership. Also has access to server and pays forum bills.
Admin - Board Management, Visionaries.
Global Moderator - High Ranking Staff Member, Moderates all forums and part of management.
Moderator - Trusted Staff Member, Moderates specific forums and part of management. 3rd in command.
Elite - Priviledged Member given Elite status due to high contribution to forum and respect for board rules.
Member - Registered member
Banned

Depending on your usergroup, you will have various permissions, priveledges and access levels. You can find our your usegroup by looking at the colour of your username.

USER RANK

Your user rank dictates your position in the forum posting history.

Your rank increases in relation to your posts. It goes as follows:

0-4999 posts = Survivor

5000 - 6999 = Island Survivor

7000 - 9999 = Island Believer

10000 - 11,999 =Island Legend

12,000 - 13,000 = *To be updated*

13,999+ To be updated

Moderators = Island Guardian
Admin = Island Warrior
Admin/Owner = Island Architect
