Forum Layout Overview

*The following changes have been made to the layout of forums. Please read to avoid any confusion.

-Episode subforums have been made for each Season 3 episode and the respective episode specific threads that were once in dumped in a stream of conciousness, have now been (and are still in the process of being) transferred over to their respective parent sub-forums. This process isn't complete.

-What was once General Season 3 Discussion has nw become General Discussion - and both the general Season 2 and 3 forums/threads have been (and are still in the process of being) moved to this forum. General Discussion is now for ANY Lost discussion thread which is NOT specifically about a character or an episode.

-As mentioned above, the Season 2 General Lost forum have been dismantled and merged into various forums, such as General Lost and the Survivor Forums.

-The Season 2 Episode Discussion Forums remain, but has been moved into the newly formed Lost Discussion Section.

*The above is designed to cut down on the number of forums/sections that we have, as the forum index was becoming too cluttered and long.

-The Season 4 Theories and Spec Forum has been removed and all threads which once belonged to it have been transferred to either General Lost, Survivor Forums and the Theories Forum. There was no need to for this forum since now we do not have a Season 3 section - thus the renamed Lost Discussion section can now house ALL discussion threads whether they're S1, S2, S3 or S4 etc..

-Lost Games has been made into a main forum and can now be found in the Creative Section. This is because the section it was once in has now become the 'Lost Discussion' section.

-The Hiatus Rewatch Forum has been moved into it's own section because it is a prime Hiatus event which i want to give easy exposure to.

To clarify I will now now list what each Lost Discussion forum is for:
-Hiatus Rewatch Forum = Threads/posts relating to the on-going hiatus rewatch. The latest discussion thread will always be set up for you to use.

-General Discussion = For Threads/Posts which DO NOT specifically focus on an EPISODE or a CHARACTER. Before posting in this forum think of two things:

Does my thread predominently focus on a past or current episode? If YES - then it should go in the relevent episode discussion sub-forum.

Does my thread predominently docus on a specific character? If YES - the it should be posted in that characters own sub-forum or their groups sub-forum.

Generally you should ask yourself the above question in that order.

Here are some examples to guide you:

Your thread is about Ben but focuses on something he did in 3x13, then this should go in the 3x13 EPISODE forum.

Your thread is about Ben and Locke. This should go into the General Discussion Forum, unless it focuses on a specific episode.

Your thread is mostly about Ben. This should go in Ben's survivor forum.


- Season 3 Episode Discussion = Threads which are about events etc from that episode

- The Survivors = Threads which focus mainly on a character

- Theores = The place for all theories. A theory is something which you think will or wont happen based upon a reasoned argument (line of thought).

The above isn't designed to confuse, rather to help you to adjust to a better organised board. We now have fewer sections with threads in the correct sections (or in the process of being transferred). The Survivor forums should become better used now because they are in effect, just as important as the General Discussion and Episode Forums - so try not to overlook or underuse them. Mods will move threads into the right sections if they're posted in the wrong area, so before asking staff - do a search if you can't find your thread.

If you have any questions, do not be afraid to ask. Mistakes will be made and it wont be the end of the world, but we all want a better organised forum and as time goes by i anticpate that we will become accustomed to the new layout, which will be for everyones benefit.

P.S. No threads have been deleted in this process (except a few of my own announcement ones)- if you can't find a category/forum/thread it's probably because they're now in a different location. Furthermore I was unaware that the S2 forum postcount was off - by moving them into the newly formed 'Lost Discussion' section, it has unlocked 3,000 odd posts - so some of you might find that your post count has increased.
