Not that I think he was worth the bother of introducing, but at least that 'not wanting people to get involved with anything' is what makes Paulo different from all the other characters. Nikki could be anyone. At least Paulo's a dissenting voice, albeit a pretty pointless and irritating one.

How can so many people hate him? You haven't even given him a chance, he's only been in a few episodes. Maybe he's annoying to some people - but I still don't see how. How can living on the island and collecting food be annoying?

Hmm, I see the point, at first I resented them because they didn't seem like the good old losties that we knew, but I think it's good to have a change, and it will be good to get to know their backgrounds and everything

I don't have anything against Paulo, really. He's just been given some silly lines for a new character.

Also, Dr Arzt was just a redshirt, so there was no real need to try and integrate him into the group the way they need to with Paulo and Nikki.

I thought it was a Paulo episode when it started with the flashback :der1:

Though I don't mind his character - it is nice to have someonewho can't be arsed to run off all the time.

Nikki's line of "have you checked behind the powered milk" was pointless too.

Its almost like the episode ran short so they threw in a few lines for them!!!
