What are your initial impressions of Nikki?

A cleverer version of Shannon.

That sums her up so far, she has the look of Shannon but seems niceer and a bit sharper, mind i say a bit.

I voted 'promising character' as I think that from the little that we have seen her so far she isn't going to be incredibly whiny and annoying, she isn't going to be bitchy, she isn't going to be inanely angry, she isn't going to be passive and neither is she going to be obsessed with running around on every little mission.

Which means that she may actually be a normal woman (which on Lost would be astonding!)

I think Nikki could be a fun character if given the right material - no I don't mean clothes material

(this is so annoying i just done a sig on all my favs Shannon, Sun, Sayid and Sawyer and i thought it was cool that they all begun with S now Nikki comes along and spoils the pattern lol)

Lol abbott my mum said the same about Desmond when he returned. Where did he come from? Who is he?! I think Nikki could be a good character. I think she could be quite funny and I'd like to find out more about her. She's not Shannon though.

At least the way she was introduced was clever. When she said "You always complain about not being involved, this is your chance to get a bit of the action"

Because with that one line her sudden appearance after two seasons of absence got motivated very well I think.

I still voted whats the point, because when I imagined red shirts becoming main characters I was thinking of Steve or Arzt and not the rebirth of Shannon and Boone.

lol I'm loving the 'Abbotts mum character recognition test' - it should be mandatory..

On topic, I agree with 108 I don't think there was any need for new blood. I don't know if I'm the only one, but if they're going to kill characters off I want to have some history with them..

Perhaps I'll be proved wrong (I hope I am) and they (both Nikki and Paulo) become good characters. But I can't see it yet...
