No! Not him! He didn't have as big a role as some of the others but he was a kind character and he played the piano a lot when they did their songs. He was the one who used to try and cheer the gay one up because he had a crush on one of his classmates!
He was also the one who went on to become a journalist. I've just looked on the Internet Movie Database and his character's name was Scripps and he was played by Jamie Parker: The History Boys (2006)
