I went to see this last night and it was IMMENSE!!! Although I might have thought it was better than it was because I was borderline mortal drunk, but I thought it was absolutely excellent. Might have just been one long episode without any aliens/conspiracies etc, but it was still excellent. Gillian Anderson (being generally awesome anyway) stole the show entirely.

I'm going to see it again (sober

I don't hate myself!

I did enjoy the X-Files for teh first five years but like most programmes it run out of steam. This film was like squeezing the remaining milk from the cash cow.

Saw this the other day. Seriously it major FAILS imo. It struck me that Carter has run out of ideas when it comes to this franchise and the show has no more juice left. It was sleepy, drawn out, unimportant and...well..boring. The whole story-line seemed more concerned with M+S' relationship angst than anything else. I really can't beleive that this film got made. This is not how I want to remember X-Files. If this ever happens to LOST, i'll be heartbroken.

Although I must say, age hasn't done Anderson any harm! She's looking better than ever

Should be OK as long as there is no Lost film in a few years time although by then Foxy and Lilly will be unknown actors and desperate for one last pay cheque.

Gillian does still look aright. She looks younger then Eva.
