Sorry, I'm picky

But I didn't know it was written in the 50's, but I do know that writer/director Tobe Hooper got the idea while standing in a queue in a department store. He said he wanted to just get through the queue when his eyes drifted over to the chainsaws
Yeah the original script was penned in the late 50's. Bu tisn't that such a great thought of how the film started? I mean you wonder where modern horror writers/directors get their ideas from, especially the Saw lot, and then you get that. Damn it's so great.

Yeah, I love hearing stories like that of how people get inspired...

Modern horror today seem to draw off the movies of the 70's for inspiration, which futhers my argument of why the 70's was such a great dacade!

Well you know why, cause the directors all producing horror movies now, grew up in the 70's.

Changed the way I look at movies forever.
I felt a little cheated after I watched that Ors, I dunno why - I liked it all enough, but I felt there was something missing

Could not pick my favorite movie ever, but I love films. I usually watch a new film every night (or every other night at least) which is probably a bad thing as I'll forget the names of films..

At the mo I'd say Memento (2000) and The Seven Samarui (1954) are 2 that have left amazing tastes in my mouth as of late.

But I could talk about movies for days. But I won't...

ooh Memento is a great film! I'm fast becoming a major Chris Nolan fan. I loved memento, then saw batman Begins and loved what he did with that but after seeing The Prestige...blown away. If you liked memento you would probably almost certainly like The Prestige (insert point where you say "I've seen it already!&quot. It's got that whole puzzle/mystery/mind tricks thing going on.
