Will mike escape?

i really think He wont. because the look Jack and mike shared means there has to be more to this!!! i think somethings going to happen. we wont see mike untill halfway-late S3 but he wont escape!!! no way!! this wrecks the 'never being able to leave and island being hidden mystery...'

I was thinking about the way they looked at each other and couldn't work out if it was a "i can't believe you betrayed us" look or a "you know what to do" kinda look....i don't think Mike will leave, there is far too much emphasis on Walt for them to simply sail off into the distsance....

"Henry" gave us a few clues.

First he said, once you've left you can never return. But the instructions to get to the place where he would be picked were in terms of direction on a compass. And after the "incident" with the hatch blowing up, I doubt these directions will still be correct.

Then he said "au revoir, Michael". So, "see you again, Michael" rather than "good bye Michael".

As to the look Jack and Michael exchanged I can't comment since I did not notice. Have to watch this again on sunday, so much stuff going on, good grief!

I think afetr the second 'incident' Henry's instructions will be useless, that looks from Jack, in my opinion was a "This ain't over you son of a b***h" look(sorry for the language, mods!) we'll probably see him again late season 3 if anything

I thoiught i'd bring this up again as we've seen every other aspect of our losties so far this season. I don't think we'll seem him till later this series (if ever) but do you get the impression he's still going to be here or will Nikki and Paulo be replacing him and WALLLLLTTTTTTTTTTT?

I agree, I don't think that they will. It's would wreck the whole mystery of it - like ILWL said. And he promised Henry that he wouldn't say anything about the island, if he says somthing about the other survivors, people are likley to start looking. And you can't just die/dissapear in a plane crash and then suddenly appear again.

I think what 108 said about the "au revoir, Michael" thing was interesting, but wasn't it "bon voyage Michael"? Which means good journey (I think).

Why has Michael hardly been in the past 2 series by the way? he was hardly there for series 2.

Well, he was away being captured for most of season 2. We saw him alot at the begining of that season though. They probably left him away for several episodes to make it more dramatic and to build up suspense.
