Whats Going to happen to Micheal?

Presuming that micheal gets walt back whats going to happen to him??? i doubt our losties will accpet him back to there camp after takin hurley, kate, sawyer and jack into a one way mission. so what do you think is going to happen!?

He asked Ms CLue for a boat, so if you are right and he survives this at all (which personally I think he won't) then he is going to set off into the sunset with Walt and Vincent.

But I think he is going to bite the dust, he and Walt and Vincent, in the shoot out. Or thats the cliffhanger, the shoot out, and we won't find out until S3 who's dead and who isn't. :fire:

i dont think they should kill off walt, i mean theres soo much more to him like what happened whilst he was there?? and they need to develop his 'powers', how he knew what was down the hatch and how he appeared to shannon and sayid... theres so much more to his story... even if mike dies and walt stays captured im happy with that atleast we may find out in the future

You'r probably right, there is too much unexplained story if they get rid of Walt. But its a two hour finale, maybe they spend it with Walt island flashbacks, like with Michael in the last episode? Another episode where the flashback character dies at the end (like Shannon and Ana-Lucia) maybe?

When the boat arrived at the end of "3 minutes" I thought that was Michael's boat being delivered as a sign of good faith from the Others. He did let Henry go, after all. Now he just has to deliver the 4 and the boat's his. Maybe it even has Walt on it?

I feel that, whatever happens, Walt's time in the series is up fairly soon, purely because Malcolm David Kelley is a rapidly growing lad and they're going to sacrifice realism if he stays in the show much longer. Assuming they don't draft in a different kid to play Walt, and I can't see that happening, the character has to die, escape or perhaps just disappear into the world of the Others again, but that would just be delaying the inevitable. I don't know if they'd kill off a kid, but if they do, I reckon that'd be the end of Michael as well. I can't see him being let back into the group. And if Walt leaves the island, presumably Michael does too. Either way, I doubt Michael's staying in the series much longer.

The boat thing is kinda baffling isnt it..

..what you said above about the boat being delivered to Mike in good faith for releasing HG..interesting, but wouldnt it be waiting for him on the otherside of the island where the others are and where Mike still has to deliver the 4 chosen ones to?

Also, like a few peeps have mentioned, im now thinking that it's the motor boat he was after..the one from Exodus

I dont think Walt is on it because would they let him go before Mike has even completed his mission? Also, i have a feeling that they wont keep their promise about giving him Walt back, regardless..

Also, the only way i can see michael's character going is daeth...there's no more storyline is there?

Sadly i think you might be right there Murg.. because as you say Mal is a rapidly growing young man and integrity will be sacrificed if he stays in the show for much longer. Walt is supposed to be 10 and how old is Mal now, 14?...so he doesnt really look 10..or soon wont Already he has grown quite a bit since exodus!

I think they perhaps could get around this by going down the 'having special powers increases/affects growth/age avenue'.. ..i actually suspect that this is kinda the case with Locke..because if you compare how old Locke looks in comparison to his father ..thats no coincidence methinks.. ..so i guess..i hope..that they will go down this route with Walt and therefore leave him in the show and make hin a prominent member for S3 and beyond, should the show dictate it.

As for them killing off a kid..well, they'd have to be brave to do such a thing [or foolish? ]..i dont know how they could possibly go about doing this..but im sure they'd find a way that is both legitimate and heart wrenching!

Personally Walt and Mike are [still] 2 of my top 5 characters..and to lose them on top of Ana-Lu and Boone would be just my luck! lol! So i hope it doesnt happen!

Personally i think there so much more to Mike's story.

We need to know what Mrs K meant when she implied that he had [what he thought were] visions of Walt..which apparently was infact Walt astral projecting. Well thats what i assume she was alluding to before Mike annoying cut her off!

Plus theres loads more that can come of this whole situation..will he join 'them'?..will he be let back into the group? So much more can come of this.

Even though it will take me sometime to forgive him for the Ana incident..i. still. like. him.

It's an option, but I really hope they don't go down that route: pretty much everybody will see it as a corny way of getting around the aging problem rather than a sound piece of story development in its own right. I think Locke's issue is simply a matter of poorly co-ordinated casting, by the way, and an inability to youth Locke any further by using wigs and make up. They should've cast older people as his parents.

That's clever. I don't think his powers have been demonstrated as quite that powerful though - they seem somewhat random. It's a nice twist mind.
