Coz think about it - Ethan left a trail when he dragged Claire/and Charlie off (had physical 'on'] but 'the others' have shown on many occasions that they leave NO TRAIL [which in itself is odd]

That's interesting too. It's tough to square the idea that projections don't leave physical traces yet can interact physically with real people (in more than the sense that Dave did with Hurley - he never left a mark on him). I think it's difficult to argue that someone like Goodwin, who murdered and was killed himself, was anything other than real and solid. But maybe the strange drifting legs were projections at any rate.

Yeah, it's certainly not something I'd pin 100% of my hopes on. In fact as I've already said, I'm skeptical about physical atributes including 'projections' myself - I was just kind of running with the theory

Are you refering to the 'child[rens]' legs when Eko and Jin see them walking past?

That was also something I considered in my above theory, as they did seem out of place and not 'in fitting' with the grass, the ground etc

Walt is supposed to be 10 and how old is Mal now, 14?...so he doesnt really look 10..or soon wont  Already he has grown quite a bit since exodus!

Why did they make Walt 10 and not 14 for the show?

I hope they will kill him in some other season.
Maybe you like him, but he is so selfish and limited when it comes to decision.
And by the way, he shot two of the best characters - Ana Lucia (my fav, girl rest in peace) and Libby.
So, for me he is good as dead.

Yeah he didnt have to shoot them thats for sure but His son was kidnapped by these mad ppl and they took his blood and stuff so who knows what they would do to him ?

I don't like what they did to Michael. He was portrayed very evil and selfish. I mean yeah they still your kid but would you go on a rampage and kill innocents??? You'd be pissed but wouldn't become murdering bas**rd!

He didnt have to kill them though i agree i bet if he had told Jack what they said he would have gone anyway and Kate would Go coz Jack is going and I dont know about Saywer and Hurley.

Err He's dead isn't he , or have I missed something

And no way , Shooting AL was one of the best things he did.

I really don't think he's a limited character, he's one of the most interesting as he's far from perfect and has both a good side and a dark side. I really don't think he's that selfish , at the end of Season 2 he really wasnt thinking that rationally and all he wanted to do was save his son, He hated himself for betraying his friends but he was doing it for his son not himself.

And later on in Season 4 he decided to go back to the Island to do what he thought would save everyones lives, even though he knew he would probably die. And he was the only person on the whole freighter who stayed behind working to the last second , until it blew up trying to save everyone else with no regard for himself.

Sorry, but killing innocent people is far from "wasn't thinking rationally".
