Missing Michael?

Poor Mike is out there somewhere in that Jungle..for all we know he could be strung up from a tree like Charlie was..or worse, he could be dead!?

..am I the only one that misses him? I really thought he was coming into his own as a character and then he goes on a Claire-like absence!

I hope he returns soon because i really like Mike and Harold, who I think is a superb actor. :niceone:

Poor Mike! He's seemingly the least popular character on the show then they ditch him for a good portion of the series. Its a shame because his scenes so far (in both series) have been some of the best and they are nearly always memorable.

I dont see how people can call him boring, sure hes not the best looking guy in the show (its hard to compete with Foxy and Josh at the best of times) but hes hardly boring. Even his flashbacks are more interesting than Jack and Kate's (that hit and run was a shock!). Michael has joined Locke as my two favourite characters now.

Something tells me he'll show up again at some point this season, probably because his names still in the opening credits, and when he does I'm sure he will be as brilliant as ever. Excellent acting by Harold too, who is sadly just as under rated as his character.

i hope he returns at a highly dramatic moment and saves the day, with Walt Hopefully that's what they're building up to...

I would say that Michael being missing is of more concern than Walt. We have an idea where Walt is, probably with the others. We don't know where Michael is, whether he is safe or injured or captured.

Maybe we should have seen Michaels picture on that carton of milk Hurley had!

Well I have a feeling Birdseye and his buddies have him, weather or not he has been re-united with Walt or not is debatable.

I am missing him though its as if they have written out him and Walt completely, which I dont like, as thats the 2nd time they have done it, as with Shannon and Boone.

I also wonder where exactly Michael has got to! I can't help feel that he has been lured into a trap by Zeke and co, and it was in fact them (or another Dharma worker) on the hatch computer posing as Walt. I think that if it was them sending the messages and getting him to come to them, then they will ask him to do something for them in exchange for releasing Walt.

But yes, come back soon Michael and Walt! Other less deserving characters (naming no names) are taking up your air space!

I agree Mantis. He has had some truely terrific scenes in this season [and S1]. Harold manages to put so much emotion into his acting..i mean i dont think i will forget the time in Adrift when he was just crying..after Walt..it was so real..so raw! He's just fantastic imo.

I agree, I find him FAR from boring. I find alot of his scenes in teresting and either heart warming or haert wrenching. And he's not a bad looking guy..like you said he's got stiff competition in Josh and Fox. And I agree about his flashbacks. For me they have been some of the most interesting..certainly better that Kates and even Charlie's imo.

Yeah, im sure he will return at some point..and I just cant wait to see what happens if/when he does because he's got such a good storyline going on. One that interests me at any rate.

Michael's scenes are always amongst the best: setting sail, the confrontation with Zeke, him breaking down on the raft, meeting the Tailies, heading after the Others armed only with a stick, saving Sawyer, Locke's shooting practice, The computer.. I'm sure there will be many more to come!

I dont think we could list that many memorable scenes about some of the survivors who have three times as much screen time (*cough*Kate*cough*).

I actually think Mike looks a lot better now with his beard and afro than he did when they crashed, the short hair and dodgy goatee wasnt really a good look! Thankfully it only lasted for five episodes.

Yeah, Michaels scenes are brilliant..I can instantly think of many of his truely great screen moments and like you said I cannot do that for some characters..such as Kate h34r: [for example].

lol, yeah I would say he looks better these days too, that Afro really works for him and he's looking a bit more muscular, i reckon [not that ive been checking him out of anything, lol! h34r: ]. I would also say that Jin looks better in S2..his hair is better styled than in S1 and he has definetely been to the gym in the interim before S2! h34r:
