People have to remember though that Foxy and Evi may not have necessarily asked for the raise themselves. As I said last page, ABC may have just offered the raise to ensure nothing happens to the two characters who in the US are pretty much the faces of Lost. Look at the posters etc it's usually Evi and Foxy front and centre. Also it could eb their agents who brought up negotiations and obviously Evi and Foxy aren't going to decline more money.

So lets not focus all the hate on Evi and Foxy directly, there are other money-hunters in the frame here.

I completely agree. Many of the cast, in particular Terry and Emerson whom have given amazing performances which match or exceed Matthew's and Evangeline's.

I pretty much agree with the majority of the sentiments here.

Although that said, I do believe in people being paid what they deserve and what the industry standard is - by that token, I still don't think Evi or Fox deserve to be paid more than the others that have been mentioned.

Even worse is that fact that the Desperate Housewive 'actors' get paid 400K per episode. Incase you fainted at this absurd figure, i'll say it again - 400K per episode.

I think the top LOST actors (by that i'm referring to ME, ToQ etc) should be getting at least as much as the DH girls. Not that I believe anyone deserves to be paid that much for a weeks work anyways, but you get the point. If the industry generates that much money (and it does), then the top performers should be paid their due. It just makes you realise how much money is swirling around in the TV industry at the moment.

Anyway, i've kinda lost track of what I was saying. Basically everyone knows who the best LOST actors are - I happen to think that Foxy does a very good job as Jack (better than he did as Racer X) and he's up there. But then again there are others with less screen-time who do a great job with the time and material that they get - take Jeremy Davies, Harold Perrineau, John Terry, Naveen Andrews, Elizabeth Mitchell for example - these guys are tremendous actors, IMO, but they play second fiddle to the big 5 or 6. I'm just saying, if Evi had the screen time of JD (for example) would she be able to make the 'Kate' character as brilliant as JD has made the 'Faraday' character?

I totally agree. I think some of them (Evi and Matt) should try working on minimum wage in a real job. That'd make them think twice and be at least grateful for what they get.
