Everyone I'm sorry for the lack of a new picture this week, as my computer has for some reason taken a horible dislike to photobucket and has refused to access it all this weekend. Hopefully it'll be sorted by tommorrow, but in the meantime I wanted to ask all of your opinions on something:

With regards to judging the winner of each week's competition, would you prefer a different way of doing so, more specifically if I choose a certain number of entries and put them in a seperate poll and then everyone (anonymously) votes for one as the winner? Or are you happy with things they way they are? I was just wondering, since it is quite a subjective method of deciding the winner and I think it might be a bit fairer this new way, but I don't mind either way really.

I think either ways good, but I think you could give voting a go. As long as people are honest and don't just vote for their friends, or for themselves....unless they think everybody else's caption sucks

I think Voting may work though if its anon there would be no way of telling if somebody voted for themselves. Or can you mods see who votes for what

I don't mind either way.

Yeah methinks we should have a bash at voting for a bit, just to see how it goes. I don't think there's anyone on here who would just vote for their own etc, but really i don't mind either way either

And Freckles we can't see who voted for what if it isn't supposed to be seen. At least I can't

Maybe I'm just cynical, but one person choosing the caption that makes them laugh the most seems fairer to me, as I can see no other outcome than people voting for their friends, or even themselves.

That said, I'm not really bothered. It's just a bit of fun really, and a more formal voting system sounds like more work for someone. Personally I don't see the need but I'm not really bothered either way. The enjoyment is in the captions.
