Lockdown - E4 last night - Lost Community Forums - Official Spoiler-free Lost Fansite

I just happened to watch E4 last night and Lockdown was being repeated. However, the last section was interrupted with freeze frames of the 118 guys and then they went to adverts (this was about 1 minute after last advert break. After the break at around 6:55 they went and played Hollyoaks which was due at 7pm. THEY NEVER SHOWED THE FINAL FIVE MINUTES!!!

HOW THICK CAN YOU GET!!!!???

The announcer apologised mid way through E4 Hollyoaks and said that all shows will be 5 minutes early today due to the technical hitch during Lost.

Dumb ass jokers!

yes but isn't the point of first look Hollyoaks that you can watch the episode on C4 first then flipover?

By the time C4 people flip over it been on five minutes. Imagine if this was Lost. People on here woudl not be happy.

I see Five have stuck a deal with Sony Films to premerie films like Divinci Code and Spiderman 3 when its released (i/e before Sky get their mits on them!).

Why can't they strike a deal with ABC with Lost?

I was watching the repeat of Lockdown on E4 as well last night, and was not happy about the way my favourite episode got hacked to pieces!!

I don't watch Hollyoaks so never heard the announcement, but you'd think they would've made an apology sooner than that.

I hadn't heard about this...it's nice to see any channel get something decent before Sky does though! And I think Five US is starting next Monday, so I will have to see what shows they have on that. A lot of CSI I would bet!

They managed to cut loads of bits out of Friends last night as well...

Are E4 taking us all for fools, or have they got some serious broadcasty-technical-type problems?
