I noticed something near the end of the finale when Kate, Jack & Sawyer are on the pier/dock. Just before the Others put sacks over their heads Kate & Sawyer are both looking at Jack & it looks like Jack gives a very subtle nod, & then Kate very deliberately blinks at him. Hope this hasn't been posted already, but did anyone else notice this?

Yeah i noticed this too.. ..i think it was Jack reassuring Kate that everything would be ok

But who knows, 'perhaps' this was some pre-planned sign which they devised off-camera, in the event of capture etc. I highly doubt it but it's worth thinking baout maybe..

Could be, but I would have thought that she might have nodded back if that was the case.

But who knows, 'perhaps' this was some pre-planned sign which they devised off-camera, in the event of capture etc. I highly doubt it but it's worth thinking baout maybe..
I think it's unlikely they would show us something that we have no knowledge of. Unless there's going to be a flashback in S3 that reveals more, like the flashback of Michaels time with the Others.

Personally, I think Sawyers angry look is more important than the understanding look Kate and Jack gave each other. More love triangle in S3? Hope not but could be?

Yeah I noticed that too! And I was wondering why Kate didn't look at Sawyer at all! And I think your suspicions are going to be right about the love triangle from what I've heard. (Only rumours mind you, & we know how quickly things can change in Lost!)
