At the end of S1, we had three guys on a raft, one boy abducted, and a hatch door exploded.

At the end of S2, we have three guys on one boat, a man and his son on another, three guys in captivity, one guy walking alone through the jungle and a whole hatch exploded.

Now there are so many ways they can take it from here, my head is spinning.

We can look inside the hatch and see what happened to Locke, Eko and Dezza. Did they have a quasi-religious experience when subjected to the electro-magnetic discharge, or have they been nuked?

We can follow Sayid, Jin and Sun on an attempt to leave the island, and fail like Desmond.

We can follow our lurve triangle (first shot probably something like hood taken off, amazing sight, no idea how they got there).

Some time into S3, Hurley may emerge from the forest and then we get to see his story in flash back - how he escaped polar bears, dragons, the black smoke and taught this bird to say more than just "Hurley".

Will they ever be re-united?

that last bit about hurley is a spoiler... he flies out of the jungle on a dragon with peggy the parrot (coincendel name?) on his back, then peggy says Hurley wants a pickle.... totally random stuff in S3

I think Jack, Kate and Sawyer will go to a *secret hatch* where all the prisoners are being held and...

HEY! We got new characters!

Then Sayid will find Hurley and their crewage will return.
IMO.

But seriously, what does it mean, that scene with that bird (probably a parrot, you are right, I did not get a good look because I had goosebumps from the sound alone) saying "Hurley"?

And whatever it means, surely Hurley is going to encounter him again?

I thought Exodus was better!!

I reckon Seaosn 3 will open up like season 2 did. Probably be some bloke we never seen before coming from Other village preparing some torture devices and then cue the others we know bringing their prisoners to their real camp.

I just can't see a normal opening to the show.
