Does any one have any theories towards the number 325 which were the bearings "Henry" gave micheal to get off the island.

(3x108)+1 it is thought that the correct number is 324 but "Henry" wanted to keep Walt but make it look like he has kept up his end of the deal.

Or even having no connection with the numbers is a good thing.

Some of the theories on LOST pedia look interesting.............it's possible it is just a random number, although that would be boring lol.

They gave Michael and Walt their boat. Was that just used for getting around the island, or is there another island somewhere that M&W will pitch up at. Why would they give away their boat?

I bet the "118 guys" run the boat service from a local pier.

I reckon there is another nearby island. Either with stranded castaways or perhaps it's a communal base/centre where the others live etc. A "scientific utopia", if you will

Well there was a ferry mentioned in the Pearl video so I'm also of the opinion that there is another island closeby, and we never got to learn where that cable that fed into the sea went.

I'd like to think the number meant something, but so far I can't find any reasonable explanation.

Yeah and in LTDA the others and the 4 chosen ones where at the 'Ferry Pala', which must be where they Ferry ships poeple to and from another location..or the "barracks" as Wickman put it (Another military term

). These 'barracks' are mostly likely based on another island somewhere.

And of course the cable..we still havent discovered what thats for have we

I wonder whether Michael and Walt have been sent to the other island. Take a compass bearing 325 and you will be rescued. he didn't say who by now did he? Perhaps there is another part of the group out there that will rescue Michael and Walt from the ocean but not from the whole situation itself. Have they achieved what the Others wanted them to achieve and merely been sent onto the next stage?

I like this..i like this alot! ..the idea that Mike and Walt have merely been passed on to the next stage..and not been freed from the overall situation. Now if the creators are not doing this then theyve perhaps missed a trick!

It's definitely a route the producers could take to make things more interesting. A season could very well end showing the existance of a sister-island. Though wouldnt this take away the importance of the current island somewhat.

It could turn out M&W are sent to another island and are there for the entirety of S3, only to escape and return to the old island for S4. Though the interesting aspect of this, is that you never see the other island until the end of S3 or the beginning S4, where M&W tell everyone about it.
