Default WARNING SIGN: Aaron, Claire and Bernard

Hmmm, I was thinking back to the S2 finale epsiode when the Quarantine labelled hatch door came plummeting out of the sky towards a startled Bernard and Claire..and Aaron.

Now what was the purpose of this?

Surely it's not mere 'filler' in order to give Bernie a little 'action role' with him coming to Claire Claire's rescue!?

Rather, im thinking that this may be a touch of forshadowing from the creators? Perhaps we should consider the possibilitiy that at least one of Claire Claire, Bernie or Aaron might get the sickness in S3? Afterall - 'QUARANTINE!!'

Any thoughts?

Personally, I doubt it. I think the flying hatch door was included to make the people on the beach realise that something had gone very, very wrong at the hatch, and to make the viewers fear for the safety of the characters inside. Having it nearly hit Claire just made for a more dramatic scene than having it plummet harmlessly into the sea, and it gave those two characters, otherwise underused in that episode, something to do.

Hmm, i agrere with you to an extent. Because it did enable 'Camp Lostie' to realise that something had gone ary (as if seeing a bright white light wasnt enough to stir panic and fear into them ). As you infer, the hatch door would provoke thoughts of the hatch blowing up or something..and it gave Bernie some action-time (thats another life he's saved..Rose will never hear the end of it! )

However, is it just coincidence that Claire was debating giving Aaron the Vaccine to protect him from the sickness and now the Quarantine door almost hit's her/them..of ALL people..

Not so sure..
