Will Libby turn up again?

Shes dead but shes already appeared in THREE people's flashbacks. This must be a record. So I suspect we will see more of Libby when we see more of Hurley/Desmond for sure. I think Eko's meeting with her was just random.

Its a real possibility, Boone turned up in Shannons flashback, so the sky is the limit as far as that is concerned.

The way I see it, Libbys flashback career is the typical path they all take, just in miniature, with each episode lasting a fraction of a minute.

One flashback early in life, when something interesting happens (Hurley). One flashback close to when they board the plane (Eko). And one in the middle (Desmond). Plus a revelation (Elisabeth = Libby).

In the same way that Rose and Bernard covered the whole journey in a single flashback.

Simply a way to break out of the established format to prevent if from getting stale and predictable. Like "on the island" flashbacks, or collective flashbacks.

Hm, surely they'll tell us how she ended up on the mental ward? And more about her husband's mysterious death ("he got sick" - lot of that going around!).

As her husband David was such a keen boater, could he have been injured or killed when Hurley went through the decking - an incident which spawned Hurley's imaginary friend Dave? Perhaps Libby was stalking Hurley and looking for revenge by leading him on.

i definatley think we'll see libby in some S3 flashbacks, btw anyone wana join her fanclub lol, anyway yes i think well see her again, and pretty soon might i add

I thought that, but when she said that he got sick i thought it ruled it out, but it could still be possible

I would not believe that story if I were Desmond.

a) her tears were like Kate or Jacks
noone gives a boat away no matter what - even if you have to sell it on the cheap
c) Dave/David might be something there plus Desmond's name was confirmed as David Desmond Hume by the prison guard. Another David!
