I was sooo hoping Juliet would follow Jack into his house.

What i did love..and credit to Evi for this, is when her and Jack were having a heart to heart in the room and then Jules interrupts them and the way in which Kate pulled her face back from Jacks hands when he turned to look at her, was exceptional..for a brief moment i bought into Evi's acting, it was a great moment..depicting the fact that for a moment Kate was lost..she's not used to being the one not in control of a relationship - she is normally the one running and her face said it all - she was Lost in Jack for a moment.

The girl is improving so she is.

Can't say she's the most lovable character, but I think Evi plays her well and always has!

No, I have to say that I fail to see what the fuss was about Evi/Kate in this episode - all Kate really did was to breathe hope into Jate triumphing over Skate, and if that boring aspect was taken out the episode wouldn't have suffered one bit without her I think! Actually for the past few episodes I think her involvement in the whole trek has been pretty pointless, especially compared to Locke's, Sayid's and even Dani's presence. And if I'm being completely honest I don't think that Evi's acting has improved a huge amount at all. Sorry Evi!

I really could not agree more, Ki!

As a character, it's no secret that I don't like Kate...i dislike her even more than I do Jack! But perhaps if the same character had been portrayed by a different actress I might dislike her a little less. I think Evangelines' acting is pretty diabolical to be honest, which results in one whole package, a terrible character played by an even worse actress.

Kates' contribution to the last couple of episodes has been very poor and I don't think the storyline would have suffered one iota in her not being there. Honestly she had one single expression on her coupon for the entire episode almost. The performance was devoid of any real involvement in the character from Evangeline, compare that to Terry who seems to be so in tune with his character he has it tweaked so well. The girl could learn a lot from those around her!

Yes exactly! All she seems to do is frown or screw her whole face up to varying degrees these days, as she whines on and on about Jack. I think Kate is a dreadfully dull character as it is, but Evi does nothing whatsoever to improve Kate for me. I mean I don't like Jack at all, but if he left then the show would suffer, but if Kate went then I don't think I'd realise it for another few episodes at least!

Yes....i detected a hint of jealousy on Kate's part there! She clearly still has feelings for Jack.

I've always thought Evie was a great actress personally.

sure its not outstanding but i have seen worse (a lot worse) i would class her as about average

people dont like how Kate uses the same facial expression all the time, and see it as poor acting. I think she does it on purpose however, as if trying to make her character more unpenetrable
