Well, everyone is entitled to their opinions.... even if they are wrong :P Joking!

I can see where the 'Kate Hate' comes from, but I only saw it after reading it on this forum, not before. And never do I think it during viewing of the show. Interesting!

Perhaps... perhaps it doesnt matter? If I dont notice it during viewing, why be negative? And hey....

I liked her to begin with durring the first series but have gotten a bit bored of her now her flashbacks all seem to be the same and her character just annoys me for some reason probably because she is so self centered.

Yes, I've always liked her.

I've never seen this "bad acting" of hers and tbh most flashbacks are along the same lines, i.e. people expect revelations and exciting flashbacks. Well S1 and 2 pretty much took care of that so now all we have are flashbacks which don't give much away and aren't going to blow us away.

On island, I like her character, I think she is central to Lost because it all started with Kate and Jack, we know it [nearly] ends with Kate and Jack thus she won't be killed off anytime soon [imo] and I'm pleased that's the case.

I really fail to see what Kate has contributed to S3 apart from being a side of the boringly awful love triangle...I have never liked Kate, but at least for S1 (and to a lesser extent S2) she played an active part in a lot of the mysteries and the main storylines featured in the show - she was a true member of the A Team - but what's been her purpose for S3? Yes Kate is a main character, but I really don't believe that the show would suffer a huge deal at all if she got killed off, unlike say if Jack or Locke were. But that dream seems even further away now, what with the flashforward episode. Kate's flashbacks have gotten steadily worse as the seasons have gone on, which is a shame because she had one of the best unsolved mysteries going on in S1 - why she was on the run - but even that revelation was a big let down imo, when there were so many other possibilities wide open for her.

I don't like Kate's character and I don't think much of Evi's acting skills at all, but I still hope that there'll be more to Kate in S4 other than going back and forth between Jack and Sawyer.

shes quite boring, which is weird as i usually like them types of characters!
I think i might also just be a bit annoyed by the amount of people that fancy her when she isnt even as nice as everyone maks her out to be!
