I think she's both an extremely unattractive character and, oddly, generally a pretty dull one at the same time. If Kate and Jack appear alone in a scene together, I generally phase out. But I don't think she's particularly badly acted... certainly not the worst actor on that programme (unpopular choice here, I think, but Josh Holloway's one heck of a ham - his character's just so much more fun to watch... same goes for Mira Furlan).

But seriously though, ding dong! And her on the run story is great, and constantly wierd personality adds an unsual texture to the show imo!

wow! Never before have I seen so much Kate hate - didn't know that it even really existed til I came here

I was kind of anti-Kate in the very first few episodes of season 1 but as I've learned more about her I've come to like her more. I think she's settled in nicely, she's comfortable with being on the island in a lot of ways. I think her not having the ability to run away from things has made her face a few of her demons and it's had an impact on her character for the better. I do think we need to see more from her flashbacks though, not just her always running from something/someone. I do like how Kate's always up for going out and helping with stuff though, she likes to be treated as an equal - as one of the guys. I dunno I just think that it's good she wantst o be of use as opposed to lying on a beach like Shannon would (granted shannon did some stuff but y'know what I mean).

I'm not goign to go into her being a likeable person - if she were real I'd think she was horrible, but as a character to watch I think she does have interesting qualities. And I think there's a lot of harsh comments about Evi's acting - she has definitely improved throughout the series and to be honest, I don't think she was that bad to begin with anyway.

i have to admit i did like ana aswell, when she shot shannon i was fuming lol, but i was still interested in her character. and i gradually warmed up to her

but i felt really sorry for her in her final episode were she said to her mum on the phone 'i wanna come home' awww and then she got shot!! lol
