Juliet -whats she doing there ?

[Easily confused]

Ok so we know she was brought to the island for the purposes of helping out the fertility problem which hasn’t improved any since she arrived but that doesn’t necessarily mean that she doesn’t know what the problem is.

When she gave Sun her scan (D.O.C) she seemed to be very informed on the situation she only apologised for the fact that Sun is mostly likely going to die she didn’t apologise (from memory) for not being able to help her which you would expect someone to do if they were genuinely unable to do anything so that makes me think that she could help Sun but Ben won’t allow her to do it (which could also explain why she says “I hate you” after recording her message to Ben) and to prevent Sun begging Juliet to help her and from getting caught up in a battle with Ben over it Juliet purposefully forgets to tell Sun that she does know a way of helping her.

What is it that Ben doesn’t want Juliet to do : -

Could it be that the only answer is for both the man and the woman of the couple conceiving would have to leave the island to conceive

Is it the increase of sperm present in men that is causing the problem and Ben doesn’t want the cause of the increase to be removed from the equation and its too risky to operate/experiment on the men to reduce their sperm count


And if she really doesn’t know what the problem is then there is really no point in Ben keeping her there so why is he?

i thought that it would be because Ben can get people of the island, he just wont allow it! because Juliete did say she would only be able to help back in the real world!
