Juliet: Impact? - Lost Community Forums - Official Spoiler-free Lost Fansite

I know this is kinda late since she's been in 7 episodes now, but nethertheless, she is still new to us really.

So what are your initial impressions of her 'impact' on this LOST saga (i stress impact because there is already a curretn thread discussing whether we 'like' her or not)

ALthough I have several gripes about season 3, I think EM as Juiliet has been one very good factor. I mean the woman has made Jack more interesting for starters!!!

Positive! She is a great character! And she could still be the leader of the Others

:P Its all going on.

Her lines have been great, her winding relationship with Jack, the sandwhiches, the documents, the everything is fantastic

And the video!!

All I ask is that she is (somehow) working voth sides to her advantage.

True, she's added a new dimension to Jacks character..one which has brought me somewhat closer to Jack, even though he held Ben's life on a string!

Overall I'd say Juliette has had a positive impact on the show. There are so many aspects to her character and the writers can take her character in a number of different directions be it evil, good, she can start a relationship with Jack etc. So I like where her character can go.

I also found her flashback interesting and it gave us a good insight into how members of the others might have been recruited etc.

Now just a personal gripe which has nothing to do with juliette, was her character needed when so many of the 'original' cast have so many unanswred questions about them?

Because of Juliette and co have the ppl we were originally intriduced to been pushed aside? Will early mysteries ever be explained now there are so many new characters to find out about? This worries me.

I agree, so here comes mass murders! Surely, I think, most of these new guys will be killed off or leave the island, going back to the original cast for some cracking adventures

I said it feels like she's alway been around, in a good way. It's just that now it would seem sort of weird to have LOST without her.

Deffinatly Verix, an instant LOST character. From Eppy 1 she has been top notch, and the song intro, and the bookclub - you just dont get that on other tv shows!
