Theres been many occaisions were Juliet seems a powerful character. this is a great advantage, i mean if she said to ben go to hell and starts mouthing off to him, i seriously doubt he is going to let her be in charge of jack. so this would mean juliet wouldnt be able to have told jack about the lies ant stuff etc.

I saw Danny's "sorry Jules" as deeply sarcastic, esspecially that he called her Jules, belittling her by not referring to her as her full name.

She has been a plus - she's one of the most interesting and entertaining of the Others (obviously falling behind Ben, Ethan and, quite possibly, behind Danny) but I just... don't trust her.

She's like an Other version of Shannon - she'll act helpless but isn't opposed to a good con and to getting other people to do her work.

I like her. She's a brilliant character, with an air of mystery and surprise behind her. Not to mention she is pretty easy on the eye as well, which always helps.

She likes to screw Ben around, which I am always up for! Juliet is easily leader potential!

i haven't read what everyone's written so i don't know if i'm just repeating what someone else has said:

i like her, i think there is more to her than we've already seen, she sort of blends the line between the others and the losties. She was obviously friends with Coleen but doesn't seem to be to keen on Ben lol :P and now she seems to have sort have become friends with Jack.

I think her character has alot more to give and theres potential for a lot of twists with her like we've already sort of seen with ben...

I like Juliet and think she's a great character. Someone else who is not easy to fathom. I like to think she is good, but maybe still too much under Ben's thumb. I think she'd like to break free but hasn't got the power to do so. She is still manipulative though and could give Locke a run for his money in that area. One to watch and definately a character I can't wait to see develop further. Hopefully we may get some 'other' flashbacks at some point too, even if they are on-island ones, as I understand Ben never left the island.

I don't think she is nice.

If you're anti-Other (and esspecially anti-Ben) then you could say that the mockingbird video was her being a nice/good person but I don't see how someone who is trying to convince another man to become a murderer can be considered a nice person in the general sense of the word.

Very true AP influencing someone else to commit murder is not good in my books either.

However, I don't think we have seen enough of her to pass judgement. She comes across as friendly, but is obviously harried by Ben and you wonder exactly what influence he has over her to make her to want to take such revenge, if indeed she actually wanted to.

What if you're trying to convince someone to kill, say Hitler? Is it right then - by the notion of many of Ben's 'supporters' - if there is a greater good involved, and killing Ben will save hundreds, maybe thousands - it would then be ok?

That's why Ben and Juliet are so similar, the only difference is that we don't know who's actually batting for the 'good guys' - if anyone actually is!

In essence, Juliet is doing the same thing as Ben. Influencing Jack into doing something that he has no reason to do -

Ben: Perform a life saving surgery on someone who has attacked and kidnapped him
Juliet: Execute Ben (nobody want's to kill an unarmed man - usually)

Both are 'not very nice people' - I suppose it comes down to who is the least not nice or which is actually doing the good thing...

All the Ben fans will say "BEN" and all the anti-Ben fans will say "JULIET" - neither have enough evidence to say 100% who is actually the good guy

I don't like her and she is not trustworthy. She thinks nothing of backstabbing Ben, so what's to stop her doing the same to Jack? Call it women's intuition if you like but she's a wrong un, and so is Ben.

The poor bloke gets so much slack and yet he hasnt really done anything except capture a few criminals :P
