After everything he has been through, with his father, Helen, his mother, Boone, his disability, trying to open the hatch for so long, trapping his legs and everything else, don't you feel sorry for our wise bald leader?
I really do feel sorry for him. |

I feel sorry for Locke..ive been slightly confused by his actions of late but i do feel sorry for him. He seems to be struggling to find himself..it's almost as if he's lost sight of who he was only a few short weeks ago.
Also, he's got no more disciples left [except Claire]..Boones gone, he kinda abandoned Charlie, Walt's missing...poor John, i just wish i was out there with him to help him find his clarity again!

However, i also feel that Charlie had himself to blame somewhat, since he obviously hoarded the drugs for a reason..he was tempted and although temptation isnt the same as submission, he blatently lied to Locke..rather than ask him for help or advice he lied to him on several occassions..add that to his erratic behaviour and a part of me can understand why Locke felt hurt aswell as worried for the safety of Claire and Aaron. So i suppose, in my opinion they are both to blame..Locke may have turned his back on Charlie but Charlie also turned his back on Locke..and now it's too late for Charlie to win back Locke's trust [or so it seems]. As for Boones death, i do feel that the island [or Hanso foundations science?] projected that dream into Lockes head and Locke being Locke took this for a sign..a sign from the island that he and Boone must go hunting for the beachraft plane in order to get into the hatch. Locke knew that there might be danger ahead but i honestly feel as though he didnt expect Boone to die. I blame the island or Hanso foundations manipulation for killing Boone and leaving Locke without his right hand man. I suppose in general though Locke is rather aloof..a loner if you will, but he's a nice guy and he's very endearing..it's shame theres no-one for him to talk to or to bounce idea's off. Boone was a great help in that way. In saying that though, i actually think in different circumstances and in another life, he and Henry would get on very well!

Aww I feel sorry for Locke whenever anyone looks at him funny, let alone all the drama he's been though lately!
It just seems that everyone he has ever made a connection with has either lied to him or simply left him: his Mother gave him up for adoption, Mr. Cooper stole his kidney and then used him again to get his money for him, Helen rejected his proposal and drove off, Boone died, Walt turned his back on him and is who knows where and after Henry choose not to leave him alone in the hatch it's revelaed that he's lied to Locke as well. Poor Locke Yes he's not the most socially skilled person there is and I can see why people don't really warm to him, but they're missing out on so much by not befriending him. And now Henry's told him that he didn't push the button and that his hatch is just a big joke, Locke is no doubt questioning whether the hatch really is his destiny...or even if he has a destiny and a purpose at all.

He got on rather well with Eko, but then he went off to cut trees and build his church or whatever. Oh, and I voted I'm sorry for him. After all he's the only one trying to make sense of the whole island situation and they leave him alone to it.
