This is true, he is improving, i still feel his reaction to say sun cheating on him etc would be entirely unpredictable and probably violent, but then i wouldnt blame him personally for that attitude. He is definitely learning though

I gotts say also, that I agree with Murgy and TOO, Jin has probably grown and changed the most out of all the characters. I cant see him being violent towards Sun even if he did find out she cheated on him.

Hello all- this is my first post (on this forum) - but for some reason it won't let me post on the newcomers thread!! Boo Hoo - so I'll try and start here instead!

I really like Jin, he is in my top five characters (the 5 i most want to last til the end!) - I feel he carries a lot of the heart of the show; he has been involved in some really instrumental scenes, such as Aaron's birth and the Raft, as well as gaining a sense of humour and adding alighthearted honesty to the show.

Yeah, Jin's canvass really has blossomed into a beautiful picture of colours and blends..his light and shade has also made folk endear towards him and i really appreciate him being around. He's probably not in my top 5 but he's certainly one of my more likeable characters

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I was having prob;ems with my computer earlier so maybe i'll be able to post on the newcomers forum (though I'm technically not new now - 2 posts!) - and as for all the Roses am i the only English one?

Just to make sure this post stays on topic - another thing I like about Jin, is i feel there is still a little mystery to his backstory too; some characters seem to have told us all there is to tell, but Jin I believe has some hidden depths.

Well... Jin Jin Jin... I'll admit it, I was retarded when Lost started... and I assumed that Jin was Sun's overbearing father.
Shows how much I knew.

But... after he started interacting with the other losties... I realized that he was just trying to be nice... and then I learned that Sun was his wife!

Well... I still liked him, I understood his plight, that he had to do things... so that he could stay with Sun.

I respect a man that knows the meaning of love.
Of course, I liked him more after "... in translation" and have liked him more and more with each flashback.

He's one of the sole meat providers on the island!
Come to think of it... I wonder how the Losties are coping without him.

Give a lostie a fish, and he will eat for a day.... so get fishing! Theres a lot of losties!

Sun on the other hand... has proven less and less likeable... I'm kind of glad she's getting the pregnant axe. It'd probably tear Jin apart though... he'd probably kill himself.

Oh well... Jin is great, I give him 108 fish out of 108.
