he wouldn't have apologised. He vents. He shouts to release his anger and stress regarding his life prior to the island. He doesnt feel the need to apologise, maybe because a red mist flows before his eyes and he forgets he ever did it. He needs special help methinks

yeah he was all in his right to go apes**t with her, i'm pretty sure i would have. if everyone was skulking around being all cryptic i would most definately be busting some balls

I still think he should apologise tho - I mean he not only bit her head off but the kids too. And perhaps more importantly, he himself soon went on to understand that life with the Others wasn't too bad..and it was soon Kate who was biting his head off - "What have they done to you!!? Have they brainwashed you!? Blah blah blah blah".

Therefore with the tables now turned, and Jack able to see where Cindy was coming from, surely he owes her an apology? Or perhaps he's too proud to admit that he was out of order? Yeah, that sounds like our Jack.

I'm saying that afterwards..like days later when he himself has integrated himself into Otherdom and is happily playing football with Tom and Kate is the one incredulous at the ease with which he's adapted to life with the Others..should he not realise that he is now effectively doing exactly what Cindy was doing?? Doesn't the poor woman deserve an apology in retrospect..

Otherwise doesn't this make Jack a bit of a hypocrite?

Can't defend Jack on all counts but he didn't actually chop Boone's leg off. Boone told Jack to give up trying to save him so the leg stayed on.
