Nah but seriously..i do appreciate Jack..he's a cracking character and Matthew is a superb actor in my view! I love the emotion and feeling that he puts into his scenes..and when he's on screen with Terry/Locke..WOW..great stuff every time! :niceone:

Jack is a diamond and one of my top 3 favourite characters. He is much more complex than your common hero and at times I cannot believe some of things he does, but that just makes him more believable and loveable. I do think he needs to lighten up a little though. Where on earth did KoR-evo find that picture for his banner. Jack smiling seems to be very rare these days!

It won't come as a great surprise to a lot of you that I cannot stand the character of Jack, and some of the ways he's treted Locke makes my blood boil. But saying that I fully agree with Roco in that Matthew Fox is an amazing actor, and his scenes with Locke are some of the best in the show, especially when it comes to character dynamics.

i am loving the fact that people are trying their best to say something nice, even if they are scraping the barrel

i dont think jack treats locke badly.. they are just 2 very different characters who both want the same title of leader!

Kiowa Warrior, you're just not trying hard enough.

I'm sure it I put my mind to it I could list lots of positive Jack traits.

In the meantime I must admit that Jack and Locke compliment each other very well and bring out the best and worse of each others character. Without the other character to interract with each one would be half the man they are now.

OK, here goes: Jack does have a pretty thankless task by being the 'leader' of the group, and I can understand his anger and impatience when he has to make a decision that not everyone agrees with. I also believe that he does have the interests of the group at the forefront of his mind, and is prepared to go to any extent to make sure that they are all as safe as can be.

There, that's two positive Jack points from me!
