When Jack told Kate he loved her,

I liked when he sort of paused and then looked away to the side before finally going for it. I thought the expressions on his face then were absolutely terrific! Plus the little catch in his voice.

He can pull his Jack Faces at me anytime!

Stop your sobbing Jack - we love ya!

I started of disliking Jack , but now I guess I like him !

I think what I like about Jack is his dynamics with other character , from important ones like Locke and Ben to smaller ones like Hurley and even Micheal. He seems to have a different relationship to nearly every single character in Lost making him in my opinion one of the most deep and intruiging character of Lost

Something that also made me start to love Jack where his flashforwards , watching his ups , downs and internal battles was compelling and to top S4 off the brilliant scene where he finds out Claire is his sister.

Not saying he has no faults, but in my opinion Jack Shepard is a great character

I think Matthew Fox is an excellent actor which was displayed well in the last few programmes of Season 4 where he plays a drink and drug addled wreck (off island) and a hero on island where he wouldn't be manipulated by Ben or Locke. I think that's probably why I like Jack's character. He's his own man and won't be manipulated. I like his show of free will. He's not a sheep.

I think Matthew Fox is over rated. He uses the oddest facial expressions I have ever seen.

But Jack is one of the characters I want to like and I did in season 1 its just now his whole story is dull.

) that I'd find something good about Jack. The only thing that springs to mind is from what I can remember (and I've blocked most of Jack's scenes on Lost out

) is that he kept Charlie's secret of him going cold turkey from Hurley. ("He's got the flu") which was nice of him because he could of easily told Hurley and not helped Charlie.

I'm in shock another positive Jack comment popped into my brain:

Jack risked his own health and well being to help others in need (mainly talking about s1 e01 here). He was injured and probably abit disorientated but he arrived at the scene (

) and without a second thought leaped straight in and took control of the situation and did his best to help everybody who needed helping. He got others (Locke + redshirts) to work together to help others and he showed that he naturally wants to help others and that he can be a leader. He also made quick decisions which saved people's lives and he kept cool under pressure and in a completely new situation that nobody would of dreamt of being in. He put everybody else first and helped a numerous amount of people before eventually seeing to himself.
I think that's why I liked him in the first few episodes. He showed alot of good qualities.

Now I think I need to be hit around the head to get this positive Jack stuff out of me

Don't expect anymore from me soon.

EDIT: I've just read (most of) the posts in here and something weird happened, I caught myself thinking of some good qualities Jack has that but then my anti-Jack senses kicked in and I thought of reasons to cancel those good qualities out so my Jack hate is strong and won't be broken easily
