The fact that he is hogging an episode and not letting the other losties having an episode is pretty annoying!

No! Recently i've been warming to Jack even more becasue imo he has been reacting exactly how any sane human beng would and not simply swallowing Ben's words just 'because' he alludes to knowing more.

Definatly prefer to caress his stubled cheeks than slap them.

In all honesty Jack really hadn't annoyed me for the start of S3 - I think this is mainly because he never had a chance to do any Locke bashing - but as soon as he inititally refused to do Ben's op my loathing for him intensified yet again! He's just so smug, and his behaviour in his latest flashback was just disgusting, manhandling a woman like that and bullying her just so that he could get a tattoo

Thank goodness, someone on this forum who doesn't actually hate Jack. We're a rare breed. Exactly, I mean, allJack has seen is his friends injured, people and children captured, he's been locked up and forced to do stuff he doesn't want.....how is this good? Jack is right to behave the way he does!

And *looks around for Sawyer* I wouldn't mind caressing Jack's cheeks, just once mind you....and as long as they're stubbly.

Exactly Beachy. I think people are quick to criticise Jack when he's done so much for the losties. I mean he was thrown into the role of leader and has performed and acted fairly responsibly. With the power of hindsight we know that some of his decisions weren't too wise (not telling the others about Michael). What's more he's pretty much always putting the needs of the group before himself.

And Ki, i think he always intended to do the op, he just needed the leverage over Ben, which he used in 3x06 to great effect.
